We love you Kyle : Kyle Miller

We love you Kyle

by Kyle & Vanessa on 06/08/13

Our beloved Kyle passed away peacefully just before 1:00 this morning at Mount Sinai Hospital. He was admitted on Sunday evening with symptoms of dehydration, shortness of breath and increased pain.

Our hearts are filled with such sadness and our world feels empty without him. There isn't anyone who could have fought harder or longer with such determination. We miss him so much already. Our only peace is in knowing that his suffering is over and his pain has been washed away.

Your support gave so much comfort to Kyle and our families, and lifted him up on his worst of days during his 20-month long battle with sarcoma.

Funeral and visitation details will be posted once the arrangements have been finalized.

With love,

Vanessa and Families

Our hearts ache for your loss. Kyle is an inspiration to all. We had to explain to our 5 year old why "daddy" was so sad today. He then went on to tell us that we would see Kyle again, and that when we wave to the clouds Kyle would be waving back. Our thoughts & prayers have been with you in the past and will remain with you present and future. Love, Shaun & Wendy Nelson

His battle was a valiant one, and today he dances with Angels. Dearest Vanessa, Kyles family....may the happiest and most cherished memories of Kyle fill your hearts in the days ahead and give you peace and strength. We were so blessed to get to know Kyle and to call him friend. His picture has been on my fridge for 3 years and everyday I walked by it and said Hey Kyle...Hope you are having a good day....That picture will stay there as a reminder of his courage and determination for our family. We will continue to support BeatIt in Kyles memory In the Spirit of Lacrosse Debbie, Gord, Jon and Reagan - The Sept Family Three Hills, Alberta

Thank you for all you have done for the game of lacrosse in Canada and around the world. I hope on your future journey wherever that might be, you meet up with Chris Sanderson and have a beer, a laugh, and throw the ball around together. My thoughts are with your family.

My family sends love and condolences. While we've never met personally, we're members of the lacrosse family and we and our son Luke, who played Div I lacrosse, have followed Kyle's story and have hoped and prayed for him. We wish all Kyle's loved ones peace and solace at this time. -- Kevin, Heather, Luke Acton (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan)

Thank you Vanessa and Kyle for touching our lives when you moved next door to us in Grand Bahama. Even though our time together was short, you will always have a place in our hearts. We will never forget you! Tell Connor that Lucy talks about him everyday, and can't wait to take him for walk (drag) again someday! xoxo

My deepest sympathy for you Vanessa and all of Kyle's family and friends. He was an amazing man with more courage than anyone I know. The battle the two of you fought together was so inspiring to follow. My daughter and I will continue to wear our Beat It hats in his honor. The world has lost a courageous leader like no other!
